behind the camera?

I'm Brandon James Mitchell — a Director of Photography based in Miami Beach, specializing in brand campaigns and interview-driven content for fashion, lifestyle, and emerging brands.

 

My background covers the full visual pipeline: I shoot, edit, and color grade my own work. That changes how I operate on set. I'm thinking about the cut and the grade before the camera rolls, which means cleaner footage, more intentional selects, and a final product with real visual cohesion. For brands and agencies, it also means less overhead, faster turnarounds, and a single creative point of contact who understands the work from every angle. I work directly with brand teams, creative directors, and agencies on hero films, social content, paid ad campaigns, and interview projects — content that needs to look premium and perform.

 

My approach is collaborative and production-efficient: I come to set prepared, communicate clearly, and deliver visuals that align with your creative direction without the overhead of a large production house.
